Evaluating Professional Performance

Grading

Students will be evaluated in two ways; academic and attendance. Students are required to maintain both academic grades above 70% as well as an attendance average of 70% or more to be in compliance with the maximum time frame allotment.

Maximum Time Frame:

Students must complete the educational course or program that is no longer than 150% of the planned course:
 

Cosmetology (1600 hours):

Part-time (3hr/day): 800 school days

Full-time (6hr/day): 400 school days

Accelerated (9hr/day): 267 school days 

​

Hair Design (1200 hours):

Part-time (3hr/day): 600 school days

Full-time (6hr/day): 300 school days

Accelerated (9hr/day): 200 school days

 

Basic Nails (300 hours):

Part-time (3hr/day): 151 school days

Full-time (6hr/day): 76 school days

Accelerated: 51 school days

​

Basic Esthetics (600 hours):

Part-time (3hr/day): 300 school days

Full-time (6hr/day): 150 school days

Accelerated  (9hr/day): 100 school days

​

Students that exceed these maximums will be terminated and will have to reapply for their programs. A maximum of 75% of their completed hours will be accepted at the time of re-enrollment and will require cash payment for any additional hours.
