Don’t Let the Cost of School Stand in Your Way!
At Valynn Beauty Academy, we understand that paying for your education is an important part of choosing a career-training program. We want to help you explore the financial resources that may be available to you as you pursue your education and career goals.
There are a variety of financial aid, scholarship, and tuition assistance opportunities available to students who meet the eligibility requirements. Available programs may vary based on your program, enrollment status, and individual circumstances.
Start Exploring Your Options
If you are interested in financial aid, the first step is to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA helps determine whether you may qualify for federal and other types of financial assistance.
Our team is available to help answer questions and provide information about the financial aid and scholarship resources available to Valynn Beauty Academy students.
Scholarships & Additional Resources
We also provide information about scholarships and other external funding opportunities that may be available to students pursuing careers in cosmetology, esthetics, nail technology, and related fields.
Please note: Some scholarships and financial assistance programs are offered by outside organizations. Valynn Beauty Academy does not administer these programs, determine eligibility, or have influence over award decisions. We provide these opportunities as a resource to help students explore additional ways to fund their education.

Federal Pell Grants
Federal Pell Grants are usually awarded only to undergraduate students who display exceptional financial need and have not earned a bachelor's, graduate, or professional degree.
A Federal Pell Grant, unlike a loan, does not have to be repaid, except under certain circumstances.
With Federal Pell Grants, award amounts can change yearly. The maximum Federal Pell Grant award is $7,395 for the 2026-27 award year (July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027). The amount you get, though, will depend on your student aid index (based on your FAFSA form), your cost of attendance, your status as a full-time or part-time student, your plans to attend school for a full academic year or less, the type and length of your academic program, and your remaining Pell eligibility under your Pell lifetime eligibility used (LEU) amount. You may not receive Federal Pell Grant funds from more than one school at a time.
If your parent or guardian died in the line of duty while either (a) serving on active duty as a member of the U.S. armed forces on or after September 11, 2001; or (b) actively serving as and performing the duties of a public safety officer, you may be eligible for a Maximum Pell Grant.
Federal Subsidized Loans
Federal Subsidized Loans are available to undergraduate students with financial need. Your school determines the amount you can borrow, and the amount may not exceed your financial need. The U.S. Department of Education pays the interest on a Direct Subsidized Loan while you're in school at least half-time, for the first six months after you leave school, and during a period of deferment.
Financial Aid
Federal Unsubsidized Loans
Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loans are available to undergraduate and graduate students; there is no requirement to demonstrate financial need. Your school determines the amount you can borrow based on your cost of attendance and other financial aid you receive. You are responsible for paying the interest on a Direct Unsubsidized Loan during all periods.
